Pension is located in downtown Arieseni between the filling station and Hotel Vanke, 8 km from the ski Vartop, in Apuseni Natural Park.

Pensiunea Skipass Vartop

Cazare la Arieseni la Pensiunea Skipass la 3 margarete, in apropiere de telescaunul "Piatra Graitoare" si Groapa Ruginoasa.

Pensiunea Skipass este situata in satul de vacanta Vartop, in judetul Bihor la granita cu judetul Alba.

     Waterfall Varciorog is situated in the village Vamvucesti  at 5 km from Arieseni, it is a landscape reservation because it is a beautiflu water fall of 15 m high.  It is accesible in all seasons. To reach it you must fallow the point yellow marcup. From the watterfall you can climb to the Peak Piatara Graitoare in 1-2 hours.

It is located in Arieseni, village stone house at an altitude of 1250 meters.

Glacier cave in Vartop (known under several names: Wonderful Cave or Glacier Stone House) is the place to find the oldest trace of Neanderthal man from Romania. Although the cave entrance was known localinici hundreds of years, it is certified only in science in 1955. Cave is a natural monument in 1957 and 1969 Speleological reserve.

The cave is 300 meters long, entry of 15 and 5 m height, leads to a downward several rooms, each decorated with specific elements:
- Hall glacier "70 m which is a block of ice by 1600 cm
- "Dome Room" where you can admire the dome of montmilh, festooned with gururi, and interesting ceiling drapes.
- "Wonder Room", named so because of the diversity present speleothems: stalactites, stalagmites, columns, curtains parietal, coral, etc. gururi
- "Great Hall" where you can see stalagmites and many domes stalagmites, stalactites, columns, coral canopy, curtains, festooned gururi a disk and calcite crystals.

Scientific research in 1974 led to the discovery "Hall started" by a team led by Professor Joseph Viehmann, Speleological Institute "Emil Racovita of Cluj. In this room were petrified traces of "Human Vartop, one of which was harvested and studied at the Institute of Speleology in Cluj. Following is 22 inches long and 10.6 centimeters wide. Thumb away from the other fingers was 1.6 cm, which could induce the finding that "grab" objects that monkeys foot. Experts have determined that the height "Human Vartop" exceeded 146 inches. After discovery, following research conducted by anthropologist Riscutia Cantemir, it established that it is Neanderthal. Tomograph with a performance at the Institute of Cluj imaging sections were made and found that when the Neanderthal man walked and left after a soft substance was 62,000 years ago. Following later filled with another material dated as being approximately 25,000 years old.

Fauna: There are several elements present trogloxene (molluscs, beetles), but the dark corridors of ice proserpinae Pholeuon abound.

Although small, this is one of the most beautiful caves in the country due to diversity and conservation of ornaments. Since 2008 the cave was closed for visitors because of disputes between City Hall and Reserve mountains - the cave is currently closed with an iron gate.

Important: It is one of the most beautiful caves in the Apuseni Mountains coverage entirely because of the cave with formations of calcite deposition varied and well preserved. Here were found three footprints of Neanderthal man - "Man of Vartop" - one of them being in a museum in Cluj-Napoca.
